So what's Songsforbigstars?  Simple, 'Me Songwriter - You Big Star'!  O.K. perhaps further explanation is needed ....

I've been writing, singing and playing guitar for over 20 years.  I love to play for friends and relatives around the campfire, have performed on the stage and  have had some local radio air play.   From time to time the idea of Rock Stardom has crossed my mind ...  But not for long!

The idea of life on the road - living out of a suitcase - a different town every night - all those girls chasing me (oh, hang on a minute) Errr - No ...

Sometime ago I realised my ideal music plan would be for me to concentrate on writing the songs - in my jeans aided by vast quantities of tea and chocolate biscuits, while the 'big stars' can concentrate on looking cool for the cameras ...  Good Deal!

So if you're a big star, I invite you to listen to the song clips, read the song-bios, think of your own arrangement and vocals, and imagine playing a new original song at your next gig!

Hopefully you will find the song you’ve been looking for! 

Songsforbigstars is based on the Sunshine Coast in B.C. Canada - a haven for writers and performers.  In the future I would like to include other selected Coast artists on SFBS.
